Office Policy
We require two working days notice for rescheduling or cancellation of procedures in the office. Two weeks’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling hospital based surgery.
As you can imagine, surgical time is at a premium. Considerable time and energy goes into a surgical booking. Rescheduling or cancelling surgery with less than two weeks notice may prevent another woman from having her surgery.
Please be aware that rescheduling or cancelling procedures with Dr. Wilkie will result in an administration fee. In most circumstances, the cost for rescheduling or cancellation is $80.00.
The prolapse you repaired had been preventing me from doing so many things that are important to me. The surgery you offered was short, and the recovery period easily managed with the medication schedule you gave me. I was back doing normal activities in a few days, (avoiding heavy lifting of course for a few weeks) and feel like a new woman now.
