Dr. Wilkie is the past Vice President of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) and is past President of the Canadian Society for the Urogynaecologic and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (CSURPS). He continues as a committee member with SOGC Urogynaecology subcomittee.
